Resolution to Establish a Date by Which the SIUC Faculty Senate will be
Provided with the Names of Proposed Internal Program Reviewers

WHEREAS established procedure in the selection and assignment of Internal Program Reviewers involves the support of such candidates by the Faculty Senate; and

WHEREAS the list of Internal Program Reviewers has in the past most often been received by the Faculty Senate in a time frame that has not provided for ample and appropriate time to review, discuss, and consider such candidates; and

WHEREAS these internal program reviews are conducted and completed in the fall of the year;

BE IT THEREFORE RESOLVED that the Faculty Senate receive the complete list of proposed Internal Program Reviewers by July 1 of the year in which such identified persons will be utilized in such process(es). Effective immediately.
