Resolution to Approve Recommendations for Judicial Review Board Procedures

WHEREAS the Faculty Senate affirms the continuing importance of the Judicial Review Board (JRB) in the governance of the university; and

WHEREAS at the request of the JRB chair, a joint task force of the JRB and the Faculty Senate Governance Committee has reviewed the policies and procedures for the JRB and proposed specific changes to these policies and procedures; and

WHEREAS the Faculty Senate Governance Committee has discussed the proposals of the joint task force and has amended and incorporated them into the report, “Recommendations for JRB Procedures;” [please click link for report]

THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Faculty Senate approve changes to the university document “Grievance Procedure for Faculty” as recommended in the Faculty Senate Governance Committee report, “Recommendations for JRB Procedures.”
