WHEREAS the University Curriculum Vitae form is required by the majority of University colleges and departments as a means for faculty to report annual achievement progress and communicate evidence of professional accomplishments when seeking promotion and/or tenure; and FACULTY STATUS AND WELFARE COMMITTEE
ATTACHMENT DResolution to Amend the University Curriculum Vitae Form
WHEREAS the current University Curriculum Vitae form (amended October 1996) contains questions that seek unnecessary (and potentially discriminatory) information, as well as categories that do not adequately describe research efforts,
BE IT THEREFORE RESOLVED that the Faculty Senate approve the attached amended University Curriculum Vitae form, and direct that the amended form replace the current University Curriculum Vitae form (amended October 1996) in all uses in University colleges and departments, effective immediately.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Faculty Senate requests that all University college and department faculties indicate in their operating papers appropriate user guidelines for completing the amended University Curriculum Vitae form.
