UNDERGRADUATE EDUCATION POLICY COMMITTEE
ATTACHMENT AResolution on Undergraduate Degree Residence Requirements
WHEREAS the University already has modified residence requirements for off-campus undergraduate degree programs, especially for the military; and
WHEREAS the University is now offering undergraduate degree programs on-line, such as the B.S. in Information Systems Technologies, that require similar residence requirement modifications;
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Faculty Senate modify the undergraduate residence policy in the Undergraduate Catalog, 2003-04 ("Students enrolled in programs offered for the military will have completed the residence requirement for the University upon completion of all courses required by the program," p. 47) to read: "Students enrolled in an approved program delivered off campus will have completed the residence requirement for the University upon completion of all courses required by the program."
